Bar Bura Cuatro Cuatros

Cuatro Cuatro had been on my bucket list for years, and I finally got to experience it—let me tell you, it did not disappoint!  It is a gem perched on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The views alone are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. If you're planning to go, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance since it’s a popular spot, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out. A heads-up—there’s a cover charge, and getting up to the hilltop restaurant might cost extra. I can’t remember how much repaid but It’s worth double-checking those details beforehand so there are no surprises. Also, bring some cash for tips, a light jacket for the cool evening breeze, and of course, your camera because the ocean views are unreal. The menu is a perfect mix of Mexican and international flavors. My favorites are the fresh ceviche fish tacos, and grilled octopus, also their margaritas and local mezcal cocktails if you are a cocktail lover. I would skip the wine list there. The prices are on the higher side for Ensenada, but the quality of the food and the experience make it worth it. I’d suggest arriving a bit early to take in the scenery and snap some photos before dinner while taking a shuttle, the ride up adds to the adventure. Overall, Cuatro Cuatro is one of the most memorable dining experiences in Ensenada. Can’t wait to go back.

Bar Bura at The Cliff in Ensenada is such a memorable experience! From the moment you arrive, the views absolutely take your breath away—it’s the perfect spot for couples or small groups looking for something special, especially during sunset. The wine here is amazing, especially their Syrah. We loved it so much we ended up buying 4 bottles to bring home! The food was equally impressive, with lots of options for both shareable plates and individual dishes. Definitely recommend going for the shareable plates so you can try as many dishes as possible—everything we ordered was delicious. The service was great, super accommodating and friendly. One of the highlights for us was the shuttle ride to the restaurant, which takes you through the vineyards. Bus driver had funky lights on, and we made it into a 10 min seated dance party It was such a beautiful touch seeing the vineyards and really added to the whole experience. A heads-up: you’ll need to make a reservation, but if they’re booked, definitely message them on WhatsApp to see if you can get on the waitlist. There’s also a deposit for a minimum payment, but our group of four easily hit it without even trying—it’s totally worth it. Overall, Bar Bura is a must-visit for the incredible food, wine, views, and STUNNING atmosphere.

Bura Bura was an incredible experience and one of the highlights of our trip to Valle de Guadalupe. The ocean views are absolutely stunning and worth the visit alone! Getting there was part of the fun—the shuttle bus takes you from the main location up to the venue, and you're greeted with a complimentary Corona for the ride, which was a nice touch and set the tone for the experience. We enjoyed a couple of delicious cocktails while taking in the scenery. For food, we ordered the steak aguachile, which was surprisingly delicious and packed with flavor. We also had the tuna tostada, which was fresh, flavorful, and equally impressive. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a DJ playing great music that perfectly complemented the beautiful setting and relaxed vibe. Between the breathtaking views, great drinks, delicious food, and lively ambiance, Bura Bura is a must-visit when you're in Valle de Guadalupe.

The sunset views at Bar Bura are absolutely stunning, and the food and drinks are solid. The standout surprise is the phenomenal bathroom experience with full ocean views - something you won’t forget.

A must place to visit when in Ensenada or the Valle. The views are excellent and one of a kind. Also, the cocktails/appetizers are flavorful and of nice value. Reservations are recommended but not always required if you know how to approach the staff. Come with friends who like to have a great time to thoroughly enjoy the views, atmosphere and experience.

Amazing spot. Even has Tesla destination chargers. Once you arrive, you leave your car parked by the reception, and then there’s a shuttle that takes you to the restaurant. There’s a 200 pesos charge for the shuttle plus 700 pesos minimum consumption per person. The views, the location and the vibes makes it totally worth it. The food menu is very limited, but decent portions and delicious food. Really loved it.

We ventured out from Ensenada on the port day of our cruise. It was about an hour rental car drive. Nice drive along the coast! The view from the bar at the top was stunning! Prices were US standard, but fairly priced. Not really into wines myself so I can’t say much about the quality of their stuff but it tasted damn good with their cozy setup looking at the ocean with some good tasting food! Very nice place. Would like to visit again!
