1. Acceptance of terms
Map Foodie is an online directory that helps people discover restaurants, menus and prices. When you access the site you're agreeing to follow these terms as they stand at the time of your visit. They apply to every visitor, whether you're simply reading a menu or submitting a suggestion.
2. Using the directory
You're welcome to use Map Foodie for your own personal, non-commercial food discovery. In return, we ask that you use it fairly. That means you agree not to:
- interfere with, overload or attempt to break the site or its security;
- harvest, scrape or republish our listings in bulk for commercial gain without written consent;
- use the platform for anything unlawful or in breach of local regulations.
3. Listing accuracy
We work hard to keep menus, prices and opening hours current, but the hospitality world moves quickly. Dishes sell out, prices change, and venues update hours or close without notice. Because of this we can't guarantee that every detail is complete or perfectly up to date at the moment you read it. Treat the information as a helpful guide, and confirm anything critical - allergens, final pricing, availability - directly with the restaurant before you rely on it.
4. Your submissions
If you send us a review, tip, photo or restaurant suggestion, a few things apply. You confirm the content is yours to share and doesn't breach anyone else's rights, and you give Map Foodie permission to display and publish it within the directory. We ask that submissions stay honest and respectful - nothing false, misleading, defamatory or offensive. We may edit, decline or remove any submission at our discretion to keep the platform useful and fair.
5. External links
Some listings point to a restaurant's own website, booking tool or social page. Those destinations are outside our control, and we can't take responsibility for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Following an external link is your own call.
6. Intellectual property
The Map Foodie name, layout, written content, graphics and code belong to us or are used under licence. You're free to view and share links to our pages, but copying, redistributing or adapting our material - or using our branding commercially - requires our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
Map Foodie is provided on an "as is" basis as an informational directory. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, for decisions you make based on listing information, or for your experience at any venue we list. Your use of the platform is at your own discretion and risk.
8. Changes & contact
